Ray of Hope Haematology (ROHH) was founded by specialist haematologist Dr Yadhia Maharaj to provide compassionate, personalised, and evidence-based care. Formerly known as HaemTeam, the practice was renamed in honour of her son, Rayaan, symbolising hope and inspiration.
Dr Maharaj holds an MBChB from WITS, a Fellowship in Pathology, and a Master’s in Medicine from Stellenbosch, where she specialised in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). Her expertise spans general haematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplants, and she is dedicated to guiding patients through every step of their journey with empathy and excellence.
